My name is Steve Pronger and I'm a work-at-home father of six beautiful kids.
 Russia-Travel-Romance.com is actually has two objectives. The first, as you might expect, is to provide a useful resource for those seeking to establish relationships with Russian women and avoid the scams which seem to be so prevalent in this industry. And, to learn a little about Russia as well.
This came about quite by accident.
As I mentioned on the home page, by endeavouring to look after a client I got to know a so called "Russian mail order bride" (hate that term) and understand how difficult it was for her to not only find a partner but just to survive.
The second objective was to learn more about an online website creation system called Site Build It. This site was created with SBI. I guess you could call it an experiment in progress.

Why did I want to learn about SBI? Read on...
I actually run a (very) small website design business over at stevepronger.com. Some time ago I learned about SBI mainly through the writings of it's founder, Ken Evoy. Ken has taught me much about doing business online through publications such as Make Your Site Sell (now free).
I've built plenty of profitable websites and had my successes but I wondered if Site Build it could provide a realistic alternative for a typical small business owner to bypass a web designer and build their own website. However, SBI is not just about building a website to support an existing offline business. Although it certainly seems to fill that role quite well it is also a great way to "monitize" your passion or hobby and build a website which is a business enterprise in it's own right.
Now, for sure, you've only got to look at the testimonials and examples of successful SBI sites to see that there definitely was something to this system. But, as I intended to offer SBI as an alternative to my clients, I realised I couldn't really evaluate something without getting my hands dirty and building my own SBI site.
Russia-Travel-Romance.com is a work in progress, which of course every website is really. I don't get much time to devote to it, but here's what I can tell you so far:
- traffic has increased every month since I launched it
- advertising revenue easily exceeds the cost of running it
- it runs at a profit
- it makes money without selling a thing
SBI's step-by-step system makes it easy for complete novices to build a website. I'm not a complete novice, so using the site builder part of the process (SBI is a complete system - domain name, hosting, site building and marketing) can be a bit tedious. But, if you ARE savvy with site building tools such as Dreamweaver or even hand-coded HTML, you can in fact incorporate them with SBI's many other features to build a successful website. For newbies, stick with the step-by-step system and you can't go wrong.

Can YOU build a profitable website with Site Build It? Yes, you can! But here's the fun part. Even if you don't need a website to support an existing offline business, you can use SBI to build a great website around your hobby or passion, without any prior experience in building websites, and generate INCOME from your endeavour without ever selling a thing. Cool huh?
